Jiangmen Xiaolu Technology Co., Ltd. ("we") understands how important your personal information is. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use, store and protect it when you use the LumiDeer app and companion smart lighting devices, and what rights you have. Please read it carefully before use.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: the email address and nickname used to register and sign in, and your password stored in encrypted form.
• Device and operating information: MAC address, device name and room, model, firmware version, online status, and the state data your devices report (power, brightness, light color, working mode, timers and countdowns). This is used to display and control your devices in the app.
• Bluetooth related data: Bluetooth permission is required for device discovery, setup and local control. On Android, scanning for Bluetooth devices also requires location permission due to platform restrictions; we do not use it to collect your actual geographic location.
• Location: only when you actively use features such as Home Location, Sunrise/Sunset or Home/Away automation. You may skip or delete it at any time.
• Notification token: used to deliver device alerts, status and system messages.
• Logs and diagnostics: app logs, crash reports and network diagnostics used for troubleshooting and stability. You can view and manually upload them in the app.

We do not collect your contacts, SMS, call records or photo library content (except images you actively upload for feedback), or any information unrelated to the product's features.

2. How we use it

1. Providing core features: device setup, remote control, timers and scenes, firmware updates;
2. Keeping your account and devices secure: authentication and anomaly detection;
3. Customer support: diagnosing issues from your feedback and logs;
4. Improving the product, using de-identified and aggregated analysis;
5. Complying with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Third-party components and sharing

The app integrates the following types of third-party components, which process only what is necessary for the relevant feature:

• App runtime framework (DCloud / uni-app) — runtime and update capability;
• Push service — device and system notifications;
• Maps and geocoding service — address resolution, only when location features are enabled;
• Object storage and CDN — delivery of firmware, app packages and images.

We do not provide your personal information to third parties except: (1) with your explicit consent; (2) as necessary to deliver a feature you requested (as with the providers above); (3) when required by law or a regulator.

4. Storage and security

• Your information is stored on our servers; account and device data reside in our database, and logs are kept short-term for troubleshooting.
• We protect your information with transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted password storage and access controls.
• We retain your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

5. Your rights

• Access and correction: view and edit your account in the app under Me → Account & Security; device names and rooms can be edited in device settings.
• Withdraw consent: you may turn off Bluetooth, location or notification permissions in system settings. Related features will stop working, but prior processing remains lawful.
• Deletion and account closure: you may delete your account in the app under Me → Account & Security → Delete Account. Your account data, home and device bindings will be deleted and cannot be recovered, except where retention is required by law.
• Complaints: contact us using the details below; we will respond within 15 business days.

6. Children

Our products are intended for adults. If you are a child under 14, please read this policy with a guardian and use the product only with their consent. If we learn we have collected a child's information without prior guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you via an in-app dialog or message and update the effective date on this page. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
